Xbox announces Discord Support

The popular video and chatting app finally arrives on Xbox.

Microsoft has announced that Discord voice chat will be rolling out onto the Xbox Series S/X. This will allow users to easily chat to their friends in Discord servers, even if they're on mobile or PC.

Xbox insiders will be able to try out the feature today, with regular users having the ability to use the app at a later date. All users will need to do is link their Xbox and Discord accounts together, and they'll be able to voice chat with anyone in their server, regardless of platform.

The update acts as a huge turning point in bridging the gap between console and PC users, allowing for more active communities and more active player bases. Discord also recently partnered up with PlayStation, however it has not yet been confirmed if part of this partnership will include PlayStation users being able to choice and navigate Discord Servers.
